Bei mir ist geocaching.com in den Nachmittags- und Abendstunden nur sehr schlecht erreichbar. Stellenweise Ladezeiten pro Cache von über 2min.
Wenn ich ZenMate dazwischen schalte bessern sich die Zeiten etwas. Mein Provider ist die Telekom.

Gibt es bei Euch ähnliche Probleme?

Ja bei mir ist das auch so . Beim letzten Event in Zwackau wurde auch darüber gesprochen . Das Problem haben alle . Ab dem späten Nachmittag geht fast nix mehr . Auch jetzt gerade dauert der Aufbau der Seite ewig , das ist um die Zeit neu !

NACHTRAG :
Übrigens laden andere Seiten zeitgleich wie der Blitz ! Das Problem kann also nicht unbedingt bei der Telekom liegen !

Thank you for contacting Geocaching HQ regarding connecting to Geocaching.com and the speed of the site. For the last few weeks, we've been tracking connection issues involving routing internet traffic between Germany and Seattle. While servers on both sides of the equation are functioning properly, our investigation has so far determined a sub-optimal routing path exists. It's beyond the control of our internet provider. Other websites that are hosted in Seattle and follow a similar routing path, including http://origin.rhapsody.com/browse, are also affected.

There are a few things you can do. Geocachers are having great success increasing their connection speed to Seattle using ZenMate and other VPN/proxy services.

In addition, please capture traceroute data (MTRs if possible) and forward them to your ISP (Internet service provider in Germany) for further investigation of your outbound-routing-path issues.

We'll continue to reach out to ISP's in Germany to lobby for increased speeds and connectivity. For the latest on this issue, and for additional information see our IT forum post.

Ja, das Problem habe ich auch sehr oft. Da hilft auch kein nervöses Klicken. Einfach 5 Minuten warten, dann öffnen sich die Seiten wieder wie geschmiert. Liegt keinesfalls am heimischen Rechner!
